Angel Creek Soap grew from our own need for a natural soap with no synthetic ingredients that could cause allergies so making our soap is a very personal process for us. We use only vegetable oils such as olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and natural preservatives. All of our soaps are a natural color. All soaps will vary in color according to the batch. The children’s natural glycerin soaps are colored with approved soap colors.

All of our bars are hand sliced and variations will occur; however they will be a generous 4.5 ounces. If a bar should fall short, extra soap will be included in your order. Our soap always has the look of hand-made that people love. Some of our specialty soaps are hand-milled (also called French-milled). This means that the batch of soap is grated, heated, and put into special molds. This adds to the time involved in getting the lovely Celtic knots, flowers, hearts, and angels that you see on the specialty soap page.

All soaps except the glycerin soap for children contain a natural preservative and shelf life is about a year but using them within six months is best. Don’t put them in a little used guest bathroom display for looks – they need to be used. The children’s glycerin soap will last longer.

After using a bar of soap, it should be put on a soap dish with holes to dry. Avoid letting streaming water such as a shower flow over the soap. Keep an eye on our web site as we hope to offer wonderful soap dishes in the near future hand-made by local potters.

We try to ship all orders within 24 hours of receiving. If the order comes in when we are closed, we will process it the next business day that we are open. We are open Monday through Friday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EDT.

We try to anticipate orders, but sometimes an item will be out of stock. We make every attempt to promptly identify it on the web site; however, if an item is out of stock when we receive your order, we will delete the item from your order and ship as usual.
